Initially, our customer reached out to her plumber because he noticed a lot of water damage at his exterior water heater cabinet and thought the water heater was leaking. The plumber on site removed the water heater and then they discovered something worse, the customer actually had a slab leak! Although the water damage was concentrated at the exterior water heater cabinet, the leak was actually a dozen or so feet away. Water will always take the path of least resistance and luckily this time, that path was to the exterior of the house and not inside the house. Our customer didn’t want to repair the leak directly through the slab, they instead wanted to bypass the leak and perform a reroute. We were able to accurately located exactly where the leak was, and what pipes contained the leak so repairs could take place.
